Program Introduction

The Accounting program at Shenzhen University was founded in 1985 and is a characteristic major in Guangdong Province. After more than 30 years of development, it has formed a relatively complete talent cultivation system, including academic master's programs, professional master's programs, undergraduate programs (including the ACCA track), and continuing education programs for junior college students pursuing a bachelor's degree.

The Accounting program currently has 24 full-time faculty members, including 4 professors, 8 associate professors, and 12 lecturers, with the vast majority holding doctoral degrees.

Training Objectives

The Accounting program is committed to cultivating high-level professionals in accounting and related fields who meet the needs of social, economic, and industrial development, with the following characteristics:

1.Possessing a sense of social responsibility, adhering to professional ethics in accounting, and being able to consciously consider the impacts of laws and regulations, professional standards, environment, and sustainable development in professional practice;

2.Having a solid foundation, profound comprehensive professional capabilities, and knowledge integration ability, being able to adapt to the development of the profession, track the forefront of professional knowledge, and possess innovative thinking and awareness to provide reasonable analysis and solutions to complex problems in the field;

3.Having the ability to engage in professional activities such as accounting, audit certification, and financial management in accounting-related positions, as well as conduct preliminary scientific research;

4.Possessing sound physical and mental health and good humanistic qualities, being able to communicate and express effectively in professional practice, and demonstrating good teamwork awareness and spirit;

5.Having an international perspective, innovative awareness, and rule awareness, and being able to take the initiative to learn to adapt to the ever-changing professional practice environment.

Advanced Mathematics, Principles of Accounting, Financial Accounting (Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced), Auditing, Financial Management, Tax Law, Economic Law, Corporate Strategy and Risk Management, Management Accounting, Cost Accounting, Big Data and Financial Decision-Making, Financial Statement Analysis, Accounting Information Systems, etc.

Degree Award

Graduates will be awarded a Bachelor of Management degree.
